Marc Estes is an accomplished writer. Aside from publishing two novels, Marc is the recipient of numerous national and international play writing awards: The Vermont Playwright’s Award, the 2012 Robert J. Pickering Award for Play writing Excellence, and the Robert Chesley Award from the Chesley/Bumbalow Foundation in Los Angeles. He was also selected to receive the Artist in Residence Grant from the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, New Mexico. His plays, Gumbo (adapted from the short story by Charles Huckelbury) and Going Home were presented at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. His play The Practice of Killing (co-written with Robert Johnson, and adapted from the short story by Mr. Johnson) has been published in the Spring 2013 edition of Tacenda Literary Magazine. Marc Estes is a supportive member of the Rave Reviews Book Club (#RRBC).

Mr. Estes is a native of New England.
