I was at a women’s club meeting this past Monday.The guest speaker was the new director of thoracic surgery of our local hospital. He spoke of heart disease, heart health and of the advancements that have been made in medical science as it relates to the heart.
He got me to think of my own health (which is pretty good) and how it could be better. So, now I am on a health kick. When shopping or planning dinners Iask myself “what is the health benefit of this food?” If there isn’t any, I don’t buy it and I don’t cook it.
